Data Deletion

How to request deletion of your data from Downtime.

You have the right to request deletion of all personal data associated with your Downtime account, including your business information, pilot signup details, connected platform tokens, uploaded assets, and SMS history.

How to Request Deletion

Send an email to rod@downtime.life with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.

Please include:

  • The email address associated with your Downtime account
  • Your business name
  • The phone number registered with your account (if applicable)

What Gets Deleted

  • Your user account and profile information
  • Your pilot signup and SMS consent record, unless retention is legally required
  • Your managed business record
  • All connected platform tokens, including Google and any approved Meta/Instagram connections — deleted from our systems within 30 days
  • SMS conversation history and audit logs
  • Uploaded logos, photos, flyers, pending drafts, and scheduled changes

Timeline

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receipt. You will receive an email confirmation once your data has been deleted.

Important Notes

  • Deleting your Downtime account does not delete your Google Business Profile or Meta/Instagram accounts. It only removes the connection tokens, where present, that allow Downtime to manage them on your behalf.
  • You can also disconnect individual platforms at any time by revoking access in your Google Account or Meta Business Settings.
  • Anonymized, aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you may be retained.
